Information gleaned from a night in San Diego

  1. I probably have endometriosis from something my mother was exposed to while pregnant, like dioxins or heavy metals.
  2. It just as well may have been my grandmother, actually, because tests done in lab rats showed exposure carried to the 3rd and 4th generations.
  3. So, actually, it could have been my great-grandmother.
  4. Or, even more strangely, the placenta is actually determined by the sperm, not the egg, so it could have been my dad.
  5. Or his dad.
  6. Or his mom.
  7. Etc.
  8. Oh, and it is actually possible for human beings to be allergic to hormones.  Which explains my reaction to progesterone.
