It would be so easier to go through life not caring if you hurt people.  But it wouldn't be right.

Unto Ceasar

I made less than $3,000 last year, and, consequently, got a small refund at tax time.  My friend made over $50,000 and had to pay out, "even though I've already paid $3,000 in taxes for 2010!"  My comment was that if she paid as much in taxes as I made then she must be doing pretty okay for herself.  I hope I still have this perspective when I'm in her shoes.
